This is a case of a 28-year-old female with history of seizures and eye abnormality developed skin lesions on temporal region and scalp. Multidisciplinary approach helped doctors to confirm this condition as Fishman or Haberland syndrom. Haberland syndrome or Fishman syndrome, also known as Encephalocraniocutaneous lipomatosis is a rare, congenital neurocutaneous disorder. It is characterized by unilateral involvement of skin, eyes and central nervous system.
Indications of Fishman syndrome include mental retardation, early onset of seizures, temporofrontal lipomatosis, cerebral malformation and lipomas of the skull, eye, and heart.
