This article discusses an interesting case of a flower-shaped cataract encountered by the doctors, which developed after an injury to the eye. A 30-year-old man in India presented with a flower-shaped cataract in the eye following a bicycle accident. He suffered from a concussion, his left eye was injured, and his vision had progressively worsened over the months.
On the doctor's visit, he had undergone an ocular examination for both eyes, revealing visual acuity of 20/20 in the right eye and 20/40 in the left eye with intraocular pressure of 12 mmHg for both eyes.
