Can doctors protect themselves from medical malpractice and negligence? In this article we talk about the different initiatives which could help minimize negligence cases. Medical malpractice and negligence are few topics that always haunt doctors. The increase in negligence cases is due to the increase in patient education and involvement in management of their health. For instance, there has been about 20% increase in the number of lawsuits filed against doctors and hospitals for medical negligence.
