The Global Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (GAPIO) and the Kingsway Hospital at Nagpur entered a memorandum of understanding (MOU) that will provide fresh MBBS graduates in India with an opportunity to be trained under ‘ 2+2 training module’ . This unique education module will cause the young medicos with an option to get trained by international faculties for the first two years followed by on-job training in the UK or USA for the next two years. With over 70,000 young doctors graduating every year in India, less than half of these students get admission to Post Graduation (PG) courses.
