WhatsApp Education Improves Sun Protection From Skin Cancer With rising global skin cancer incidence driven largely by UV exposure, scalable prevention strategies are urgently needed. This randomized controlled Solomon four-group trial involving 152 women evaluated a 12-week nurse-led WhatsApp-based educational intervention on skin cancer knowledge and sun protection behaviors. Participants receiving the intervention demonstrated significant improvements in knowledge scores (increase from 10.13 to 21.89; p<0.001) and behavior scores (28.00 to 35.94; p<0.001), including sun avoidance, sunscreen use, and protective practices.
