Most of the doctors are against the new notification for the generic names and want to protest. But guys, you cannot really do anything about it, if the government is determined to implement this rule. And explaining anything to the government is next to impossible. Government and the judiciary is totally against doctors for their own reasons. And our associations have too many issues to fight against. I have a suggestion about this issue.
We should let it happen as the government wants. Let people get sub-standard drugs chosen by the chemist and let them get a poor response to the medicines, which is bound to occur. We doctors can always put a disclaimer about the efficacy and the quality of the drug and disown the responsibility of the cure.
