While NEET students all over the country are anxiously awaiting results, some students are getting dubious phone calls demanding Rs 5 lakh cash in return of increasing their ranks in awaited results. A probe has been ordered after the complaint filed by IMA secretory. At least 10 candidates have received these dubious calls. One of the candidate from Sonari said that he received a call on 18 th January.
The candidate says " The caller identified himself as one Yashwant Sinha, a data entry operator with NEET in New Delhi. He asked for 50% of the said amount in advance and the remaining money after the results were declared. He shared a bank account number too ."
