Cancer is the second leading cause of death globally, resulting in one in every six deaths. The World Health Organisation reports approximately 9 million deaths due to cancer in 2018, affecting the country’s economy, particularly the low- and middle-income countries. With more than 100 different types of cancer, awareness of the disease and its management is crucial. The Union for International Cancer Control observes 4 th February as a World Cancer Day to raise awareness about cancer.
