guidelines for antibiotics used in mother while breast feeding?

hi doctors, what are the prefered groups of antibiotics which can be safely given to a mother with diarrhea who is still breast feeding her baby? some say we can give oflox oz, norflox metronidazole combinations.

but i read that these drugs are secreted in breast milk so either drug or breast feeding should be avoided.. can any one tell proper guidelines?
