A judge about 1 yr back visited with his 4 month old grandson for vaccination in my clinic. usually i first examine the baby.I found that the baby was unable to hold his head while lifting and head was large .On measurement definitely it was more than 100th centile.The baby had mild facial dysmorphic features.wt and height ,s/e was normal. I got a very shocking history as follows: 1.Mother about 25 yrs old had seizures before conception and was advised Phenytoin by a physician in Pune. 2.Meanwhile she became pregnant and so was under followup by a Gynecologist in Pune for few months.
3.At about mid gestation they shifted to Ghaziabad where she was follwed by another gynecologist in a hospital. 4.Anyhow this baby was delivered and for excessive jitteriness was investigated including MRI of brain.
