A 65 YR / M k/c/o DM type 2 with Hypertension since 20 yrs, CKD since 3 yrs. FBS N PPBS are under control( Stable glycemic control) on linagliptin and Gliclazide. Hypertension is also under control 138/70 on CCB + ARB ( Cilnidipine + Telma) But Sr. Creatine is on the higher side and not coming down in spite of giving Tab.Acetylcysteine 600 mg BD. His Sr. Creatinine is 3.5.
I asked him for nephro reference but he is not willing. Please throw some light on his management of high creatine apart from Acetylcysteine. What else can I suggest him to lower his high Serum creatine? Need your expert views. Thanks & Regards.
