Hippocratic Oath after being promulgated in 400 BC is regarded as the cornerstone and foundation of the medical profession. But now the World Medical Association (WMA) has revised this Oath for all the physicians around the world. Medicine has experienced many changes over the years and surprisingly, these changes can be found in the evolution of the wording of the Hippocratic Oath too. Recently, the physician leaders, meeting at the WMA’s annual General Assembly in Chicago, approved the revisions in the Hippocratic Oath.
