A surgeon’s clinical decision-making plays very important role in getting desirable outcomes of a patient. Many surgeons can take a clinical decision by intuition but that certainly requires enough experience. A budding surgeon can also improve his/her clinical decision-making process by learning from their masters, watching short videos of experts, personal learnings etc.
Online CMEs are also helpful for this purpose. Additionally, the physical, personality and situational factors also contribute to better clinical decision-making process. What would you suggest for improvement of the clinical decision-making process of surgeon?
