In the recent past, there is an abnormal escalation in the incidences of attacks and violent acts on the doctors which is a matter of serious concern to the profession. Such atrocities are quite against the expectations and the spirit and nobility of our profession. The issue is a multi-factorial in nature.
We will have to consider it with muti-dimensional approach to arrive at a appropriate decision to overcome it and prevent it from repeated occurrences. Recently, in many stray incidences that have happened in several places, I tried to elicit the diverse feelings of the professionals on this issue.
