I run a 20 bedded nursing home in an extended suburb of Mumbai where I offer my services mostly to lower middle and lower income group patients which includes basic primary line of treatment for cardiac emergencies like AMI.(involving thrombolysis with Tenectaplase). Recently a 27 yr old man had massive transanerior STEMI.he belongs to a family of a shopkeeper.As they did not have money at that time they requested me to go ahead with thrombolysis which cost around 42 k Rs. Once he was haemodynamically stable I decided to shift him to a higher centre i.e.Mumbai.They did not have money for cardiac ambulance and borrowed Rs 15K from me. Obviously they did not pay hosp bill at d time of transfer.
They promised me to pay the total bill around 67 K next day and gave me two mobile nos. It is now two months but no one came to pay no one picks the phone.What shall I do? (By the way pt underwent…
