A patient of mine, male aged abbout 70 years having hypertension and old ischaemia, taking treatament for both ailments. He is otherwise active person drivinig his own car upto 200 kms at a stretch. He wants to visit Mount Kailash Mansarovar this year and came for my advice. I am very reluctant to let him go because of his HTN and ischaemic status.
What should be my advice to him? Thanks for the response of my learned professionsl colleagues. I vl try to incorporate there input while advising the patient about his trip.
