A 22 yr young female pt having hypopigmented lesions since from her childhood(about 14 yrs back). past history suggests there was a chicken pox lesions over the same area to which they applied turmeric powder on it.the lesions are non itchy , non scaly, sensation normal, no enlarged lymph nodes, no palpable cutaneous nerves. the question is whether the lesions are due to application of turmeric powder or something else.what are the possible diff diagnosis and treatment of the same.
pt is worrieng about cosmetic disfigurement in future. kindly give your (preferably dermatologists) valuable opinion. thank you.
