The MD in "GENERAL MEDICINE" is now termed as "INTERNAL MEDICINE" What is the actual idea behind calling it INTERNAL MEDICINE? I put this question to my M.D, Gen Med .-they are not able to give a satisfactory explanation.
Can anyone explain this?
