Case presentation A 68-year-old male patient was referred for mediastinal lymph node enlargement. He had an associated dry cough. Medical and personal history ·         No history of respiratory distress ·         60 pack-year history of smoking Examination ·         Bronchoscopy revealed a tumor in the right upper bronchus ·         Histopathology of the biopsied specimen revealed stage IIIB lung adenocarcinoma ·         The tumor was EGFR‐ and ALK‐negative Management ·         Chemo-radiotherapy was initiated with cisplatin and vinorelbine ·         Post-chemo-radiotherapy, maintenance therapy was initiated with 10 mg/kg of durvalumab every two weeks.
