A 21-year-old man presented with itching and tearing in both eyes, 1 -month after receiving a hematopoietic stem cell transplantation from an HLA-mismatched, unrelated donor. He also has a history of acute myeloid leukemia. His visual acuity was no affected, corneas in both eyes appeared normal, but pseudomembranes at the upper and lower tarsal conjunctivae were observed (Panel A). One pseudomembrane was removed (panel B) and sent for histopathological analysis.
