IMA Warning To Government Bringing NMC Through Backdoor

IMA has warned the government to desist from Bringing NMC into existence through Backdoor of Ordinance thereby bypassing Parliament. In a message to its members, it said: *Betrayal and Breach of Trust* The tenure of the current MCI ends on 05.11.2018. It is reliably learnt that the Government is contemplating an ordinance to bring NMC through the backdoor. IMA condemns this move of the Government which is nothing but betrayal of the Parliament.

IMA has called for an *emergency extended action committee meeting in Mumbai on Friday 28.09.2018* to decide the further course of action. A period of total non-cooperation with the Government in all the Health Programmes is on the anvil.
