Respected All Doctors, Hereby I ask your version in a case: When a surgeon/any other doctor takes a fully informed conscent of relatives regarding the procedure (and its risk) to be done with the patient, unfortunately if patient dies, people/relative of the patient got aggressive, beat the doctor, broke glasses etc. of hospital, they feel doctor is resposible for death.
Here why they forgot about their conscent, it seems informed conscent is meaningless. Now I come to the point that some well to do people brought the patient to hospital may be govt or private, after examination doctor gives first aid, he ( doctor) feels patient needs services of higher institute for his betterment, discus fully about its condition/risks and lack of management in lower institute and refer him to higher intitute but still the relative insist and give their conscent regarding loss of…
