Friends, On 8th November 2016, Indian Prime Minister announced demonetization of big Indian currency 500 and 1000 rupee notes. With various challenges, citizens of India took it as welcome step to fight against corruption and welcome cashless economy. One of important vision of demonetization is the cashless economy. Personally, I am in support of the cashless economy. The cashless economy has many advantages, which are reported from various developed countries like Singapore, Netherland, France and Sweden.
These are the countries where the cashless transaction is around 60% of total transactions But in India; only 2% of transactions are cashless.
