Urine culture is negative. Blood culture sensitivity showed sensitive to ampicillin and resistant to high level gentamicin.Patient was treated with higher doses of ampicillin1 g iv 4th hourly. No improvement seen, for 2 days.

Gentamycin is resistant.We added streptomycin  and patient improved dramatically. What are your views regarding this treatment?
