The present study details about the single centre analysis done on the inflammatory breast cancer patients. Objective The observational study was done to evaluate the clinicopathological characteristics and outcomes of Inflammatory breast cancer (IBC) in patients at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. Patient Population The records of patients were retrieved from the computer database using International Classification of Diseases code (C-50).
Out of 3650 cases, registered from January 2004 to December 2012, 41 cases of IBC were included in the study, with a median age of 45 years. Only the patients who had recurrent IBC and who had neglected and advanced breast cancer that replicated an IBC were not included in this study.
