Dr. Makarand Kochikar is a chief Uro-Oncologist at Siddhi Vinayak Ganpati Cancer Hospital, Miraj. He specialises in urological cancers, adrenal tumours, and reconstructive urology. His state of the art Uro-oncology unit undertakes a large amount of uro-oncological work and has made its presence felt nationally and internationally.
He is the recipient of the prestigious Pinamaneni Oration award and Gold medal by USI for his lifetime work on adrenal tumours mainly pheochromocytoma.
