Progeria Research Foundation (PRF) works for the cause of Progeria affected children worldwide and is funding the patients in India to move to Boston Children’s Hospital, USA. Progeria is a fatal rapid-aging disease affecting the children. Children with Progeria die of the heart disease & stroke (ARTERIOSCLEROSIS) that usually affects millions of normal aging adults (60 to 70 years of age). They may suffer from strokes and heart attacks at an average age of 14 years.

Instead of surprising physical changes in their bodies, such children are found intelligent, courageous and full of life. Progeria awareness started in India, when one child was found affected with this rare disorder.
