Dear Friends, I just came to know that Govt of India has launched UCPMP ( Uniform Code for Pharmaceutical Marketing Practice) for prevention of malpractice. It highlights on samples, freebies to be taken from pharma company. I only wondered that this code also restrict to ge grant/sponsorship for attending CME/conferences.
As this is on draft stage and will implement after 6 months, what will you think about this code, will it impact our practice/relation with other colleagues or restrict to gain knowledge through scientific programs? Opinions are welcome
