A 34 year old female referred presented with severe pain in lower abdomen after every meal, feel nauseating and afraid of pain so much so, she avoids eating anything from last 20 days. She was on inj.diclofenic for last many days. On examination no tenderness in epigastrium, but the lower abdomen is highly tender. All investigations ordered. Coloscopy normal, CBC X-ray chest, RFT, LFT normal.
Only urine routine and c/s showed Candida positive and MRI severe L 3-4-5-S1 disc prolapsed. Rest and anti fungal oral and vaginal given, the patient become relief of pain. Was it fungal PID, spread over broad and round ligaments? Is this pain caused back muscles spasm and disc prolapse?
