During my routine health check-up in the month of June 2017, it was found that I, aged 70 years, have LVH/ Aortic Stenosis (mild degree). Angiogram was normal. My BP was below 140/90. Even then I was prescribed Metoprolol Succinate once a morning after breakfast. Soon after I took 1 Tab, I felt uneasy. I contacted the Cardiologist soon. He advised me to reduce the dose & take Metoprolol Succinate.

I am taking Metoprolol Succinate regularly along with a tab. of Alfuzosin+Dutasteride for my BPH. Since last 1 month, I am having a stuffy nose (Left side), followed by watering/discharge, Left eye & is not responding to treatment on the lines of Dacryocystitis/ Conjunctivitis. I consulted an ENT consultant, who reported me that my ENT is normal. Please suggest whether I should discontinue the Metoprolol Succinate, which causes stuffy nose?
