1 Registration with state medical councils All Allopathic doctors are registered with a state medical council in India and this list is updated in the Indian Medical Registry of Medical Council of India, available in public domain. But if we change our jobs and move to another state, as per law, do we have to re- register in the new state ? Many hospitals are making the doctors re- register. Lawyers once registered in one state can practice all over India.
Driving licence are issued by State RTO's but the licence is valid all over India. Would like to know what is the correct thing in respect of doctors? 2 CME credit hours for renewal of valid registration Allopathic doctors need to get 30 credit hours in five years for renewal of registration.
