Just returned from hospital after attending an emergency! Again a failed attempt to make hospital authorities understand that severe pain is a medical emergency and medical care & facilities to such patient should be provided on extreme priority basis.
I feel disappointed after seeing very low sensitivity of medical professionals (including doctors) towards patients' pain issues (particularly chronic pain). Presently dealing with a case of severe pain as a result of generalized vasculitis (Ishchemic pain), one of the most severe and resistant type of pains, known to mankind !
