Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Government of India bagged the No. 1 position in Health Ministry’s ‘Mera Aspataal’ ranking. This ranking system was a part of an initiative established for the better patient-driven healthcare system. According to government officials, JIPMER is ranked number one amongst all central government medical institutions in the country. ‘Mera Aspataal’ portal was launched in 2016.
It is a web-based portal used for gathering patient feedback by using services such as SMS, Outbound Dialling (OBD), Mobile application and Web portal. The portal enables the patient to submit their feedback in seven different languages which are then compiled and analyzed.
