How do you know whether your heart is okay? Interestingly, your exercise capacity could be excellent even when you're having an ischaemic heart disease. Such patients actually tolerate the surgery very well despite having IHD. Your cardiac reserve makes all the difference. If you don't have good exercise tolerance...you're having a poor cardiac reserve. Are you able to perform daily activities without becoming breathless?

Are you able to climb two flights of stairs without much difficulty? BTW, flight of stairs means steps which connect two floors..eg. first floor and second floor...it comes to around twenty-four steps without breathlessness.
