Today I performed 30 Laparoscopic Tubectomy operations in a camp organised at Raj Hospital and research centre, Jodhpur Rajasthan. Now I am using latest cord less angled German Laparoscope. Now the whole of Uterus can be removed Laparoscopically, but in medical college, they are still manually opening abdomen just for ligating tubes (Traditional tubectomy) A Lady is facing so much trauma. Fresh MS (gynae) degree holder are saying that they never touched Laparoscope. It's a very funny and pity situation.
Now the time has come that whole of syllabus of PG should be revised. Training of Laparoscopic surgery must be made compulsory for all, right from proffesor(HOD) to house Surgeon. At least TT should be banned immediatly. Hope everybody will be agree with me.
