This guidelines provide recommendations applicable to patients with or at risk of developing cardiovascular disease . The scope of this focused update is limited to addressing recommendations on the duration of dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) (aspirin plus a P2Y12 inhibitor) in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD).
