A 29 yr old guy complains of burning sensation in his feet. On examination he is 86 kg,176cm height,other physical examination is unremarkable. Fasting blood sugar 200mg/dl, Post Prandial Blood Sugar (PPBS) 270 mg /dl, HbA1c 7.8. Other blood investigations: normal C-peptide 2.07ng/ml, insulin level 17.4 mcgmU/litre, anti-insulin antibodies are nil, presently on metformin 1gm BD, recent HbA1c 6.1.

Can we reverse his diabetes? Please suggest on further management. Thanks.
