Hello all, I am practicing in both rural and urban areas. I am very worried to see the management of Malaria in rural areas. Frequent and irrational uses of Choloroquine, Injection, Artemether and Tab Lumefentrene. This will ultimately cause resistant strains of Malaria.
I have seen a lot of cases of Severe Malaria due to Plasmodium Vivax and many deaths due to this strain. No one uses Primaquine prophylaxis in treating Vivax Malaria. This will cause a relapse of Malaria also. Kindly give your opinion regarding this issue and how to prevent this?
