Takayasu arteritis is a vasculitis of large arteries, like the coronary artery, observed specifically in pregnant females. Non-steroidal and steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, antiplatelet drugs, immunosuppressive agents, and diet regulation have been conventionally used to treat Takayasu arteritis. However, complex vasculitis requires major surgical or endovascular interventions like conventional angioplasty, stent grafting, or other complex angioplasty procedures. Cardiologists worldwide are working on complex, high-risk interventional procedures (CHIP) to combat such challenging cardiovascular conditions. To give you more insights into the “Management of Takayasu and High-risk Coronary Diseases,” we have organized an exclusive session by renowned Cardiologists Dr.
