Sepsis is a life-threatening condition involving pathophysiological alterations and ill consequences due to pathogens, cell components, or toxins released by them. Gram-negative bacteria cause sepsis or septic shock by releasing endotoxins. Various chemicals, including tumor-necrosis factors, are released as part of the immune response to these endotoxins, which may result in organ dysfunction and shock. Managing such septic shock can be a challenging task.
Therefore, having sound knowledge about gram-negative sepsis and its management is of utmost importance. To shed more light on this topic, we have organized an informative session in association with the Hold Medical Academy of India, where eminent speakers will share their insights on “Managing Gram-negative Sepsis” on 2 nd February 2025 , 6:00 PM IST onwards.
