A 36 years old female patient present with fever with chills and huge lump in left hypochondriac region since 5 days. Fever was intermittent with chills O/E GC-moderate Massive splenomegaly, severe pallor,icterus present, febrile, high grade fever. No hepatomegaly. No other abnormal swellings in body. No h/o bone pains Lab reports : Very high lymphocyte count. Lymphocytosis. Slight decrease in Granulocytes count.
Hemoglobin around 3-4 g%.Pallor present. No abdominal pain No past h/o diarrhoea Pulse and BP were within normal limits Questions: - Widal positive? What's the diagnosis. What's the differential diagnosis Which investigations should be advised What's the cause of splenomegaly in this case , No Ascites How to manage this case What is standard treatment here in this case.
