In parliament answering question by a member Health Minister of Health (MOS) Mr Ashwani choubey cleared the different diploma course awarded by IGNOU or pvt hospitals as PGDCC are not recognized by MCI, so students enrolled should have clear idea for this as this diploma will not help them in getting g service or job. Previously, Medical Council of India (MCI) and the Supreme Court-appointed Oversight Committee has asked students not to enroll for post graduate courses in modern medicine from Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute, Bhubaneswar-based AMRI Hospital, National Institute for Education and Research, Delhi, and Indira Gandhi National Open University (Ignou), Delhi.
