i suffered from a bout of measles this week...[modified measles rather since i was immunised as a child]..the rash typically started behind the cheek,spread to the rest of the body in around a day's time,and disappeared completely in another 2 days,was associated with fever and tender cervical lymphadenopathy...on the 2nd day of rash, i developed throat pain...on examination,,there were enlarged lymphoid follicles on the posterior pharygeal wall..i also had joint pains which started at the knee and elbow,then shifted to the small joints....my fever and rash have completely faded..joint pain is also subsiding...but the throat pain and lymphadenopathy persists....pls suggest cause.. and is there any specific treatment???...
