Measuring temperature in babies is always difficult. There are different ways oral, skin (like forehead, axilla, groin) and rectal. Different instruments like ordinary mercury, digital, infrared and strip are available.

One also needs to adjust and add to the measured temperature depending on the site from where the temperature has been taken. Is anybody aware of any guideline regarding the ideal way to measure temperature and it's interpretation?
