I can't understand the use of the word "legal" along with medical. Are we walking on the brink of criminality, when handling a science of uncertainty? We can understand our ethical liability if some accidental or incidental event happens (not at all a criminal offense I presume). Whats our connection with the legal system, why should you be answerable to a layman? If an advocate or CA commit any mistake related to the profession, that's just a civil event.

So where are we standing? Think of it, we should be controlled monitored and scrutinized by only medical people. Don't you think so? If yes join hands together for a dignified (no glory required) system or else stop Hippocratic Oath, take your oath in a courtroom and let the judge connote your oath. What we are trained for is not to stand united, to fetch the first place games?
