Having been absent from the scene for long, and with more exposure to health set ups and hospitals, I have gained certain insights regarding medical marketing. I have realised that usually, there are multiple ways to look at any marketing in the medical sector. Firstly, as a corporate word and activity and not for smaller establishments. Secondly, that health care provider wants a measurable output- footfall improvement or Brand ( though for many of us, it is never a measurable but surely appreciable).

Thirdly, another point of view which comes from those who are strictly against any medical marketing and promotions. I have a habit of always going to one side of the line to understand the viewpoint and this article is for those who think marketing is need and not wrong.
