A 17 months old toddler boy presented with h/o limping since 2 weeks. The child was born preterm 33 weeks(leak pv), delivered by LSCS, developed respiratory distress and was on CPAP for 10 days, recovered well. Subsequently had delay in few gross motor skills like rolling over by 8 months, crawling 1 year, walking with support at 14 and walking without support at 16 months, initially his walking was normal now since 2 weeks doesn't flex left hip. Mother noticed that child cries a lot on flexing left hip since last 2 months. Vision and hearing are normal. No febrile illness in last 2 months. On examination child's weight on 50%, ht 75%, Hc b/w 75 to 90%.
AF closed. No gross wasting of muscles in the left leg. Cries on flexing and external rotation of left hip. X-ray hip as suggested by ortho 1 month back was normal and no CDH. What are the possibilities? Now again referred back to ortho.
