The patient was admitted to the hospital for surgical treatment of a leg injury that he suffered while he was playing with his friends last month. However, the doctors performed a circumcision instead of the leg surgery. After realizing their mistake, they conducted the leg surgery later.
According to the hospital’s medical officer, the patient had phimosis, and the doctors decided to perform both circumcision and leg surgery. The medical officer further explained that they might have forgotten to inform the patients or might have informed the patient’s other relatives about two procedures.
