I intend to give my feelings the shape of this article, with an aim to learn in retrospect ! Here is the narrative of a real life story of a young woman who could survive till her 21st Birthday. I am a close witness to the sequence of events and related medical hardships this woman had to undergo for no fault of hers. Born as 4th girl child to not so well to do parents about 50 years back in a rural setting where the maximum perinatal support in those days was an illiterate Dai who would manage delivery as an expert oblivious of impending dangers and harms.
I was told that birth was an abnormal/ horizontal lie case, which was extracted forcefully during delivery.
