Medicolegal Issues Of Government Doctor As A Private Practitioner

I am working in the government Health and family welfare department as an anesthetist. I have referred one trauma case for higher center as a casualty duty medical officer because non-availability of the Orthopedic surgeon in our institution that trauma case has registered as the medicolegal case.

Same case has gone to private hospital for surgery.The orthopedic surgeon has given the reference for anesthesia for the same case. Legally am I going right as a private practitioner for MLC case from GOVT department outside the duty hours?
